Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Reboot?

The Call of Duty Twitter page revealed the link to the new trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on the 30th May. This highly anticipated Call of Duty title has finally been announced and delivers some interesting aspects.
After watching the trailer a few times, there was defiantly a huge emphasis on the style of game play that should be introduced in the new title, while referring more towards the campaign side of the game. Infinity Ward seems to be taking a more tactical approach in the game play mechanics this time round and it would appear that "gear options" might come into play a lot more during missions. This may be very similar to the style of game play we experienced during the sniper mission "All Ghillied Up" from the original 2007 release. Locations such as Russia, making a return along with the Middle East and London.
The Multiplayer side of the game has not really featured any real information confirmed by Infinity Ward at this time. A few small notes have been dropped like the game featuring cross platform play. Also anything achieved during the single player Campaign will carry over to the Multiplayer side and apparently there will be no season pass, which normally includes a bundle of map packs and extras. More Multiplayer information and game play reveal should be showcased at E3 2019.

This reboot of the original series will be very interesting to see how exactly the new story path creates the way forward but Infinity Ward felt that with the ending to Modern Warfare 3, there was no real way for the story to continue. One thing is for sure is that Captain Price is back and ready to kick some serious butt once more! The game has been set to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC on the 25 October 2019.
