Half Life 2 - New Patch Reveal

Half Life 2 was originally released on the 16th November 2004 along with Episode 1 being released on June 6th 2006 and Episode 2 on October 10th 2007. We were promised an Episode 3 to conclude the happenings around Half Life 2, but that then turned into getting a Half Life 3 game on its own, which was later to be delayed and eventually dropped all together even after adding Half Life and Half Life 2 together!

Further more, this comes as a surprise to Half Life fans that after all these years they still want to address issues with the game and release this patch update. Updates to Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, and Half-Life: Source will consist of the following:

- Fixed a hitch when saving games - Fixed SteamVR running when entering the settings menu - Fixed missing sounds on combine soldiers - Fixed NPCs not blinking

There has been so much hype around the "Half Life 3" game that we have yet to actually get proper confirmation on to date. Valve really does like to do random updates and releases like this which really makes me happy to be a fan of theirs and to know that someone there is working on a part of one of the most incredible fps series of all times, Half Life! Let us know in the comments how you feel about this new update because maybe when you blink again, another critical update is here and maybe in the form of a new Half Life game!
