Metro Exodus was originally released earlier in February this year and was the next major title in the series. The game is set after the events of Metro: Last Light, which continued the story of the main protagonist, Artyom. Now we get to experience the first DLC content for the game being titled The Two Colonels.
The Two Colonels is a story that takes place in the Novosibirsk Metro which is before the arrival of the Aurora Crew and follows the story of Colonel Khlebnikov as he makes his way back home to his son on New Years Eve. The story will provide further details regarding the fall of Novosibirsk. The Two Colonels will be more linear mission based, so no open-world roaming like the main installment was but there is more destruction introduced and a new weapon - the flame thrower.
Being one of the major titles to support Nvidia RTX graphics cards, the new DLC will be no different and Nvidia also claims there are various improvements that have been extended and some new additions to Ray Tracing as a whole in this DLC add-on.
The Two Colonels was released on the 20th of August 2019 for PC on the Epic Games Store, Xbox One and PS4 via their respective stores as separate purchasable content or for Season Pass owners.
