Resident Evil 3 Nemesis Remake Underway.

There was a mention earlier this year, via a Cryptic tweet from Capcom, relating to a Resident Evil 3 remake and we did a post about then. Now we have YouTuber, Spawn Wave and Eurogamer report that they’ve heard from sources that a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is in the works.

The Resident Evil 2 Remake that launched earlier this year in January has sold over 3 million copies on PC, Xbox One and PS4 within the first week. Since the original game was released on PS1 back in 1999 and followed main protagonist Jill Valentine, as she tries to escape from Raccoon City during the zombie outbreak and is pursued the entire time by the Nemesis, a new biological weapon manufactured by the Umbrella Corporation to hunt down the remaining members of S.T.A.R.S. I remember playing this game back then and my heart pounding like a steam engine every time Nemesis would appear and all you could do was run away.

Furthermore, Spawn Wave is predicting that there may be an official announcement for the game at The Game Awards in December and that they would push for a 2020 release based on how Capcom announced Resident Evil 2 and about plus minus 7 months after that it was released.

There is still so many rumours flying around about this release and now people speculating a 2020 release as well. As a fan of the series and enjoying the last remake Capcom did with Resident Evil 2, we need to take a step back here and remember these are just speculations currently. Capcom have not confirmed anything as of it, but being a fan of the original Resident Evil 3 Nemesis game, all I want is for them to confirm this remake and as soon as possible. When we have more solid evidence, we will share for sure!
