2020 has some really great games scheduled for release and some that really need a place on our collection shelves and one of those being Resident Evil 3. The remake was officially announced not that long ago and there has been plenty of news around the remake that has been coming out as of late, but the reveal of Nemesis is finally here.
The trailer really starts out so well, highlighting the frightening mass that is Nemesis. I really like what they have done with the design and the fact that they have not really strayed too much from the original concept back in the original release. They also include some snips of game play that you will experience against Nemesis and it looks terrifying. They did a fantastic job with Tyrant, Mr X, from Resident Evil 2 Remake, but Nemesis has always been worse for me in terms of the general characteristics of this Bio Mutant. The movement, the sounds and the look of Nemesis is just on another level.
There is a further introduction of Carlos now, as he meets up with Jill with some short game play snippets of him as well. There is further explanation story wise in the trailer along with Jill trying to distract Nemesis to buy Carlos more time. You will see Nemesis use a whip and flame thrower as Jill tries to use a vehicle to destroy the Mutant, which turns up side down when Nemesis gets up again. I feel the trailer captured more than enough of what to expect, but still leaving a lot of questions about how the actual experience is going to be against this unforgiving foe when the game launches.
There is a lot of involvement from the development team around the implementation of Nemesis as Game producer Peter Fabiano explained that Nemesis would be free roaming around Racoon City and that the map would be larger than what we experienced during the Resident Evil 2 Remake.
The Resident Evil 3 Remake will be launching on April 3 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
