Call of Duty Modern Warfare has been out for just over a month now and by now everyone has had a good amount of time to play the game. Infinity Ward did mention that they would not be releasing a Season Pass with the game, which has not occurred, but they have resorted to trying the Battle Pass Idea going into Season 1.
Lets start by saying that Season 1 has landed with some heavy Update weight by introducing a 20GB patch in order to receive the new content for Season 1. Lets also point out that those famous COD points are back and are required to purchase the battle pass. Below is a quick breakdown of the COD points packages available to you via the Blizzard Store.
The new content that will be coming with Season 1 will be as follows:
Three multiplayer maps: Crash, Shipment, and Vacant
A new Ground War map: Port
Additional 2v2 Gunfight maps: Cargo, Atrium, and more to follow
Four Multiplayer modes: Reinforce, Gunfight OSP, Infected
Two new weapons: the RAM-7 and Holger-26
New Spec Ops Experiences: Bomb Squad, Grounded, Just Reward, Pitch Black, and more
There will also be two new operators that will be introduced, Mara and Nikto.

I am really excited to play the new modes, use the new weapons and especially experience the classic COD4 maps like Vacant, Crash and Shipment. Those maps really do bring back memories. How does everyone feel about the COD points being added in yet again and the in game micro transactions, I mean have we not paid enough for our version of the game already? Yes there is a lot of free stuff and a step away from the traditional Season Pass, but is that enough moving forward?
