There has been leaked information, but writing of this article now is just before launch according to the leaked Trailer. The date being February 11th, so lets have a quick look at we getting with the new season.
Perhaps the most notable addition to season 2 of Call of Duty’s multiplayer appears to be the map Rust, this Modern Warfare 2 classic small sized map is really going to bring so much excitement back as this Map was so much fun and fast paced to play. Two new weapons being the GRAU 5.56, described as “lightweight, maneuverable and full of potential” while the STRIKER 45 is “hard-hitting and long-range SMG."
Activision and Infinity Ward are continuing with season 2 battle pass system and will be identical to what you experienced during the first season battle pass as well. There will also be the addition of the new Ghost operator skin, based on the much-loved character design from Modern Warfare 2. Furthermore, we will be getting an assortment of other new operator skins for previously established characters, including for Minotaur, Zane, and at least a couple others. New weapon blueprints are on the way as well. New additions to Groundwar with a new map being introduced.
The Season 2 update is set to be released on Tuesday, February 11 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
