Extreme Play-ability for Elder Scrolls 6

The announcement of The Elder Scrolls 6 took many a long time, Elder Scrolls fans breathe away and I actually needed to take a seat for a while longer personally. The sad news that came earlier this year when Bethesda announced that Elder Scrolls 6 would not feature at E3 2019 did add disappoint to the mix but we have received further information about the game now.

Bethesda Game Studios director, Todd Howard confirmed in a recent interview that Elder Scrolls 6 was going to carry a similar, if not longer timeline than what Skyrim has carried now over the last 9 years. Howard also pointed out Elder Scrolls Online, along with all the development work that has gone into the series and praised the developers at Zenimax Online Studios for a job well done! This does not run away from the fact that long time fans of the series are very anxious to take on a new Adventure through Tamriel once more.

Howard did raise some interesting points by stating the following about the new game,"They want a certain type of experience that is very, um, it's what we've done," Howard continued by saying, "You can pick up this water bottle, you can do X, Y, and Z. Things that we love. The gap in between is obviously going to be long, it already is. On one hand, I think it's good to miss things. I think that makes people come to it with really fresh eyes. And I think when they eventually see the game and what we have in mind, they'll understand the gap more in terms of technology and what we want it to do."

You always want a game series to try reach new frontiers and explore new ideas that bring about great experiences that we tend not to forget in a hurry. The new technology they are working on is just going to be this edge that we could possibly want in the new title. Howard also mentioned "The one thing [the gap] does is people are still playing Skyrim, it's still one of the best-selling games". I believe he just nailed down a very valid point here regarding the play-ability that Skyrim has experienced and that the focus on keeping the series within these boundaries, while exploring new territory, is something that is going to make this next title truly special.
