The notorious game that was released in October 2007, that would shape PC graphics forever, may be returning after the last release being Crysis 3 back in February 2013.
The Crysis Facebook page has been reactivated after the last couple of years of dormancy and their Twitter account has been active with some interesting tweets thus far.
What Data we are receiving is not confirmed yet , but the "Hey Nomad, you're still with us?" is the famous line from the first game while your character Nomad is still abroad the plane before jumping off to land on the Island. These are the first tweets since December 16th 2016. There has also been job posts that have been put out to work on a unannounced AAA title and engineers to work on real time Ray Tracing and so forth.
There was also the preview to the new Cryengine 5.6 last year, actually showcasing scenes from the original Crysis game towards the end of the trailer.
The honest facts right now is there is something coming and it is more than likely a remaster of the original Crysis game, along with Warhead perhaps? The game will more than likely be built to feature Ray Tracing and ultimately just destroy our PC's for the next decade to come. So the big question is, but can it run Crysis.... Remastered???
