Resident Evil 3 Remake was recently announced as the follow up to last years Resident Evil 2 Remake. There has been various clips and spinets of game play, but now we have a more solid hands on game play demo.
The game play looks very similar to what we experienced in RE2 Remake, but there is new additional mechanics like the Dodge move for example. This move is a well timed dodge and finish attack right before an enemy attacks you and is featured early on in the game play clip. This was featured in the original game as well. This ability can be used repeatedly as well unless changes get made before release that is. There is also a lot of environmental usage of exploding barrels or electric boxes that you can use to your advantage.
The most exciting piece of this entire game play reveal is the epic reveal of Nemesis, where you can see the full new redesign and experience the horror as he comes crashing through a solid brick wall to surprise the player. He has a tentacle weapon and is a lot more mobile compared to what Mr X was in the RE2 Remake, well a lot more mobile! They really have made it more challenging to work around Nemesis with everything else going on around you.
Resident Evil 3 Remake will be launching on PC via Steam, PS4 and Xbox One on April 3rd 2020.
